Hammel Park Courts

Hammel Park Courts are under a shared Rights of Use contract with the Logan City Council.

Conditions of use are as follows-

Registered members of Beenleigh Netball are eligiable to apply for use of court space for training purposes on allocated days outlined in the rights of use contract. Applications are to be  in writing to the Beenleigh Executive. 

General public to contact Logan City Council on the number below.

Below are the insurance and other conditions of use of the courts.

7. Allocation of courts and facilities.

7.4  Associations DO NOT have the authority to approve use of courts for any other users. Approval must be obtained from Council and Associations are to direct enquiries to Communtiy Facilities Branch - Leasing Unit.

Rights of Use conditions of hire - Public Risk/Liability

10.2 Council has statutory control of the courts, not the Associations that have ROU. Any use of the court or facility must be approved by Council to ensure that the Association is not liable. Should the Associations approve use of the court or grounds to another group, they may be liable for any acident or injury that occurs. The Associations are responsible for any additional cleaning charges that may result if the grounds are left in an unsatisfactory condition. To avoid this responsibility, the Associations must ensure that all grounds are booked through Council.
