·        Knowledge of the rules of Netball
·        100% concentration for the full game
·        Even temperament, respect for others (accepts Umpiring decisions and does not get flustered, remains calm and in control.)
·        Strength and Stamina to keep on going, never gives up
·        Good reflexes, quick decision making skills
·        Good judgement, anticipation and ability to read the play
·        Agility, ball control, good vision. (Balanced player, safe hands, strong accurate passes, spatial awareness good judgement)
·        A risk taker determined to succeed (aggressive to the ball, confident)
·        A TEAM PLAYER (there is no “I” (individual) in team)
